有中國血統的紐西蘭女歌手Bic Runga - Listening For The Weather

Bic Runga， 生於紐西蘭基督城 (Christchurch)，父親Joseph為毛利人 (Maori)，母親Sophia為中國人(原姓鄧)，小時受她兩個姐姐Boh和Pearl的影響，愛上寫歌和玩奏樂器。中學時代加入了組合 xtrasmokefreerockquest 和 Love Soup，后被發掘而簽約 Sony Music五年，於1997年推出首張專輯 Drive，推出后旋即在紐西蘭達到三白金銷量，並於當地Tui awards(地位等同格林美獎)連奪四大獎－－最佳專輯，最佳唱片，最佳演唱表演及最佳唱作人，后更成紐西蘭音樂史上銷量最高的本地女歌手。

Bic擅 長作曲作詞，並懂玩奏多種樂器，包括結他、鋼琴、打鼓等，在兩張專輯中均有顯露其音樂才華，不但負責全碟曲詞及編曲，亦親自玩奏樂器，新專輯 Beautiful Collision更邀請她母親和兩個姐姐客串。兩張專輯的首曲她以結他自彈自唱，將她最真的一面透過曲詞流露出來。

擁有中國人的血統，而能在樂壇大放異彩(大姐Boh為紐西蘭樂隊Stellar*的女主音歌手兼結他手，二姐Pearl為Ce Soir的歌手)，Bic和她的家庭，成為海外華人和音樂人的驕傲。
