華人移民工作中比較吃虧的一點,就是技術好、語言差,屬埋頭苦幹的。但夜行多闖鬼,每當遇到一時攻克不了的技術難題時,團隊里能說不能幹(至少是不願意干)的西人就來了:Did you turn on the power? Is the wire connection right? How about the principle 101 in textbook?... 彷彿是在跟一個不懂電的人討論問題。本來已經很心煩了,再給人這麼一添亂,火氣大的人就控制不住了,英語禮貌的表達方式就更不著邊了。這西人又特別會察言觀色,看你不耐煩,也不太跟你爭,不說你徹底得罪了人,但"沒有團隊合作精神"的高帽子你是帶定了。有時也別說,人忙昏了頭,也會出不插電源之類的錯,所以十次有一次,還真給多嘴的西人說對了。
是應該悠著點。我們這有個小夥子大家一起3-4 年。去年跟老婆到澳洲去了。在澳洲找工作。澳洲人也不怕麻煩,Reference Check 竟然有這麼多具體問題。大家參考一下吧。
