Have an English-English dictionary

Undoubtedly, we need a good English dictionary to help understanding and using words and rules of grammar when reading or writing. It is hard to find any dictionary being able to fit with everyone for all intents and purposes but we always have to stick to one or two as our major references to do what we are supposed to.  It was fortunate I only had an English dictionary with me for quite a long time. I did not feel any inconvenience at all then.  Even though I added two more last year, I really don』t think it necessary and helps me a lot. I recommend using a dictionary defining and explaining words in English or in English and Chinese because we can learn a word, other words defining the one, and example phrases. If you can memorize a word and related phrases together whenever you use such a dictionary, sooner or later, you will never be the same again.
