Another touching story of a faithful testimonial of Christ love. Thank you for sharing.
Christian faith is very much based on the emotional adherence - about how a superpower being getting into one's heart or life experiences and making life-changing transformation. The power of which can be so great that I'd think this is the most attractive and successful factor Christianity attracts the general mass of public who are constantly bombarded by suffering, worldly challenges and difficulties. Despite this, a religious faith that is solely led by emotional elements, through very-personal feelings and a huge set of "just belief elements" has a perpetuating risk of encountering "faith crisis" from time to time. Especially when God doesn't respond to the prayers and overwhelmingly difficult situations hit one's life - one may think that he/she has been abandoned by their God(s) or she'd have enormous doubt about whether their faith really works to solve their basic problems. In this respect, the teachings of the Buddha would reign supreme over the general Theistic religions because the teachings center on developing a self-reliant attitude and essential life skills to better control over one's mind during challenges in life. Such mastery goes beyond emotional adherence, crosses over seeking comfort from an external agent, and prepares one with a complete dose of confidence to help one really see for themselves what their problems are, and what would be the right attitude or resources within oneself where solutions are available to solve them. On a religious contemplative aspect, the mind training involves developing tranquility, contentment and an illuminating loving kindness within oneself, which are the fundamental store for creating happiness and ease within oneself, without the need of asking for any other being's help. This will bring faith crisis to minimal, and an unshaken faith that lasts a life time.

簡道兄：請你解釋一下：

先不要說不同信仰的事，就此段錄像，完全是渲染兩個極端主義：

一個就是渲染吸毒，販毒，金錢的引誘，同性巒，離婚，而且是用嘩眾取寵的形式
來去渲染

另一個極端是渲染某種宗教能夠第一時間把它們改掉，

簡道兄你此言差了！這並非是我個人喜歡不喜歡的問題，同一個論壇用不同的基本
信仰去議論，這個是經常都有出現，但是用甚麼方式方法，那就令人刮目相看了。

只是，基督信仰不是建立在感動上的，而是建立在相信聖經里神的道，並認罪悔改，而且在信仰中的經歷真實的」活「神並看見神聽所有的禱告（不管是以我們自己合神心意的意願成就，還是神高過我們的意願成就）。那些令人感動的見證是他人榮耀神的見證，並不是個人建立與神關係的基礎。The foundation is by the Bible and on the Christ. this is "an unshaken faith that lasts a life time."
就算有時候，個人因為自己一時在某些事情上不能理解而經歷crisis,甚至也許偏離了信仰，但是「縱然我們是不信實，但是神確實永遠信實的」，對於那些真心認罪悔改的人，神仍然會在一定的時間以神自己的方式領離家的浪子再次回家。

Believing something or a holy book as truth can hardly constitute an unshaken faith, because this faith is based on a belief system, some sort of self-proclamation or statement you are told to obey and accept without question. This way doubts will always be there, because one doesn't have a route to solve the doubts he/she has for this system of belief.

On the other hand, if a faith that is based on an penetrative understanding of truth that can be gained from cultivating liberating wisdom and light of insight, unshaken confidence will arise because the root of doubts could well be taken care of. And due to this understanding, whatever faith one holds will not be made rigid and defensive.

你說的內容本身是不錯的。

但是基督信仰不單單就是背書。聖經里說的 living God  正是那些願意信靠神的基督徒每日經歷的神。這種親歷的信仰經驗證明的神的同在不是心裡單憑「想「相信就得來的。你就算不想相信，你每日所經歷的也無法推諉的。經歷神的生活，讓基督徒從主觀願意相信聖經，到了個客觀承認聖經，即聖經就是神的默示，叫人認識神的屬性和旨意，悔改人的罪，信靠神，與神同行。

基督徒如果信仰樹立在錯誤根基上，或者自已一時的感動上，那樣信仰是容易動搖的。只有建立在系統的認識自己信仰的對象，就是聖經所啟示的三位一體的神上那才是一個不可動搖的基礎。

This is the most significant differernce of culture between Buddhism and Christian, as they only rely on their God being, not the natural wisdom from human being.

那是因為基督信仰相信人因為全然敗壞，在罪的詛咒下，沒有所謂積功德消業力的可能性。只能憑造物主的恩典和揀選來搭救。
