As a Christian, we have known that the sin is both separate from and against God. From human being point of view, the sin leads us in to the eternal condemnation, if God not interfering with the process.
As a conscious Christian, we are also aware that even after being saved, we still have some residual sinful nature inside of us, that we have to deal with sincerely, in order to accomplish the process of sanctification.
Let's take moment to review the biblical teachings on sin and keep alarm always in our daily life to not leave a loophole for sin to resume the control on us.
