Yes, you can buy human bones
It is perfectly legal to sell human bones in the United States. Except for select antique specimens, all human bones for sale in the United States have been prepared overseas. Prior to 1985, the main supplier of human material for medical use was India. India ceased exporting bones in 1985 following changes in Indian law. In recent years China has became our primary source for human bones. For more information, please see our Bone FAQ.
General Information
Pricing
Our Chinese human skulls are priced based on completeness, dentition, and general bone quality. Skulls begin at $350 for toothless specimens and end at around $650 for perfect specimens. Unless otherwise specified, all skulls are uncut and come with an unattached lower mandible. Some skulls come with a mismatched mandible and are slightly discounted. Mismatched mandibles fit the skull upper, but do not come from the same individual.
When available, skulls without lower mandibles can be found on our Human Skull Partials page.作者: sujie_alex 時間: 2006-3-29 04:35
