In Feb. 2010, Prof. Lu came back to Beijing and met Prof. Zhang Minghou who is a seismologist retired from The State Seismological Bureau. Zhang told to Lu that: 「A large earthquake, magnitude over 7 would occur in Beijing Area before the end of September this year at latest.」 Lu laughed instantly after listening his shocking prediction and said: 「Really? Let us wait and see.」
In September 2010, Lu called Zhang from Los Angeles,U.S.A. and asked: 「Are there any change for your prediction?」 Zhang answered: 「Up to now, the earthquake predicted by me didn』t occur yet. It seems the occurrence time would delay a litter bit, but I am sure it will occur indeed.」
In November 2010， Lu came back to Beijing and met Prof. Zhang again. Zhang said: 「The predicted area for epicenter seems to expand from Beijing area to North China and the occurrence time seems to delay and would occur before the end of March, 2011.」 Lu said: 「What would you say if it was a teleseism?」 (Note: a teleseism means an earthquake, its epicenter locates a certain area which is far away from Beijing even far away from North China.) Zhang said: 「It will be not a teleseism. I am sure it will be a large earthquake in North China.」 Lu said: 「Are you sure indeed?」 Zhang said: 「I am sure at this time: A large earthquake of magnitude over 7 would occur in North China before the end of March, 2011.」
Outcome: On March 11, 2011, a huge earthquake of magnitude 8.9 occurred in Japan. It was just a teleseism (it was far away from Beijing and even far away from North China) which Lu had anticipated. Prof. Zhang made an especially big false prediction. He was not fortunate like he had predicted the epicenter of Wenchuan Earthquake successfully.
According to Lu』s theory, it is possible that the local earthquake precursor anomaly is corresponding to strong teleseism. 「… This distant 『transfer』 of stress or the simultaneous triggering by astronomic factors causes the occurrence of precursor phenomenon corresponding to teleseism…」 (The book: Impending Earthquake Prediction，English version P149) The Prof. Zhang』s prediction was based on anomaly of terrestrial magnetism of Beijing area and even North china. In the same way this kind of earthquake precursor anomaly also may be corresponding to strong teleseism, in this case referring to Japan Huge Earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011.
Please readers think about followings carefully:
1.The occurrence time predicted by Prof. Zhang: before the end of March, 2011 at latest;
2.The magnitude predicted by Prof. Zhang: over 7;
3.Prof. Zhang affirmed extraordinarily that the epicenter would be in North China, like he had affirmed extraordinarily that the epicenter would be 100 km ambit around Chengdu City before Huge Wenchuan Earthquake.
Why did Prof. Zhang make an especially big 『False Prediction』 at this time ? The scientists in all over the world cannot dodge this problem and need to consider this problem in all seriousness. At same time, it is necessary for seismologists that Lu』s theory should be obtained correct appreciation.
China experts of earthquake prediction made false prediction again and again and again, then made failed prediction at last. The things continued this way in the past several tens years, some scientists considered pessimistically that earthquakes cannot be predicted; another scientists continued to keep on recurring according to same logic. Clearly，only Lu』s theory and Lu』s natural law just stop this kind of vicious circle.
The conclusion is that this event verified the correctness of Lu』s theory and natural law once again. It is a significant victory of Lu』s earthquake prediction theory once again.
When will China experts of earthquake prediction end their false prediction and failed predictions? Prof. Lu may wait to see and had wait for 36 years already, but people』s life cannot wait any more!!!
