Where are the Memorial Day Parades in NYC?
The biggest Memorial Day parade starts at 1pm on Grand Ave. at 72nd St. in Queens on Monday, May 29 at 2pm. The 150-year-old Brooklyn parade starts in Bay Ridge at 78th St and Third Ave at 10am and ends at John Paul Jones Park for the memorial service. Manhattan's Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Day Observance takes place at Riverside Dr. and 89th Street at 10am. There』s also Staten Island's Memorial Day Parade on Forest Ave and The Bronx's Memorial Day Parade on City Island.

The holiday is technically Monday, May 29, 2017, but the celebration begins in New York City at the start of the three-day weekend. Before you plan one of our epic weekend getaways or hit one of New York』s best beaches for some fun in the sun, consider attending one of these parties, parades or outdoor concerts in Gotham. There will also be a ton of fun Fleet Week events chock-full of sailors, in case you fancy a man (or woman) in a uniform. Fleet WeekAhoy, sailors! Fleet Week NYC 2017 is a seven-day celebration in New York City, which honors the members of the United States Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps. Every year, the weeklong party kicks off with the Parade of Ships—a flotilla of visiting vessels and tall ships that cruise along the Hudson river—and continues with military demonstrations, a Memorial Day ceremony and more outstanding things to do around some great New York City attractions.

Brooklyn Memorial Day ParadeCatholic war veterans lead Brooklyn service organizations in honor of fallen soldiers and their families in one of the oldest parades in Brooklyn—in fact, it's now in its 150th year. Sponsored by the United Military Veterans of Kings County, the ceremony kicks off at 11am on Third Avenue and 78th Street in Bay Ridge, then proceeds along Fourth Avenue and ends with a 21-gun salute by the U.S. Army at Fort Hamilton. The NYPD and FDNY will also march, Brooklyn high-school bands will perform, and antique fire trucks and autos will be on display.

Little Neck–Douglaston Memorial Day ParadeHonor fallen members of the United States Armed Forces at the largest of the city』s Memorial Day parades. Bring your handheld Old Glory and cheer on local members of the military, veterans, marching bands, Brownie troops and Boy Scouts as they march westward along Northern Boulevard in Queens from Great Neck to Douglaston. The parade is preceded by a wreath-laying ceremony at the Veterans Monument in the courtyard of the St. Anastasia Church.

Memorial Day Commemoration at Green-Wood CemeteryThe annual Memorial Day concert at Green-Wood Cemetery kicks off with the ISO Symphonic Band led by Brian Worsdale.
