路透社電訊 01/31/2011 - Egypt's powerful military said yesterday "The presence of the army in the streets is for your sake and to ensure your safety and wellbeing. The armed forces will not resort to use of force against our great people," the army statement said.

"Your armed forces, who are aware of the legitimacy of your demands and are keen to assume their responsibility in protecting the nation and the citizens, affirms that freedom of expression through peaceful means is guaranteed to everybody."

埃及軍隊今天站到老百姓一邊，發表聲明，「絕不動用武力對付偉大的埃及人民，軍隊理解人民正當的訴求，。。。。。」。穆巴拉克軍人出身，軍隊里的將軍全是由他提拔。今天，在選擇效忠個人，人民之間，軍隊選擇了人民。二十一年前的6月4日那天，真想聽到中國軍隊也說出這樣的話。
