后怕

早晨上班，以50多公里的時速，沿主路（Charleswood Drive）由南向北行駛，今天似乎車少，前後附近只有我一輛車，一切都很平靜，平常。

 

忽然，寧靜被打破，在行至一個輔路（Cherokee Drive，有stop 牌）相交的路口前，一輛白色轎車由東至西沖了出來，搶在我的前面沖向路口，當時也沒太在意，搶就搶吧…… 剎那間，對面一輛摩托車出現在視野，正駛向路口，第一感覺就是 – 完了，肯定撞上。

 

殘酷的現實就在眼前發生，就像是動畫一樣，轎車硬生生的撞在了摩托車上，摩托車手被撞飛，在空中劃了一道弧線，拋到了路邊的草地上，一動不動。

 

一切發生的那麼突然，那麼迅速，就像是在夢中，頓時麻木，心中一片空白。

 

不知怎麼駛過路口，慢慢地停下車，有了一點反應。應該下去看看，是否應該報警，幫忙。

 

這時旁邊已有行人趕到旁邊，察看傷情，打電話報警。而路上已有一串車駛來，不便過馬路，就站在路旁看著。很快救護車開來，停止路口中間，看到自己的車停在路旁影響交通，還是離開吧。

 

一邊開車，一邊發懵，那摩托車手被撞飛的一幕始終在眼前漂浮。

 

怎麼會這樣，…忽然一股冷氣從心底升起，如果我稍微開快一點，那麼被撞飛的就是我！！！

 

后怕，第一次活生生的殘酷現實就在眼前發生，而且險些就發生在自己身上。

 

懵懵懂懂開到單位前面，又是一輛轎車突然從輔路開出來，幸好雙方都很慢，都及時剎車，避免悲劇上演。

 

為了自己和他人的生命安全，小心駕駛吧！！！

too much cars with other state's license plate(especially yellow color) rushed red in NYC, these are dangerous really

well, by laws (depends on the state he was in when the accident happened), he should wait for cops and register his statements, as witness.

no turn on red in ncy by the law of nys, but lot of vehicles with other state license plate don't follow the law, when the red light they aways turn right

in this case, that 白色轎車 didn't stop at that stop sign. it had 100% of liability for that accident..

the driver of that 白色轎車 would get civil law suits besides the felony charges...

it seemed to be four-way stop intersection...

同意。除了法律方面需要證人證據外，實際上美國各州和聯邦的一些機構投入了許多力量在記錄、收集和分析交通事故數據方面，以加強交通安全管理。如果涉及到死亡，每一個事故相關的過程、人與車輛的狀況以及道路、環境和天氣狀況都會被編碼后輸入到全國統一的一個資料庫，供各領域的人做統計研究用。

當時旁邊有一個行人在第一時間趕到傷者旁邊，查看傷情並報警，他應該看到全部情況，除他之外，另一側還有其他車輛的人下來到現場，他們都應當看到全過程，我因為路上車流沒有過去，且停車位置擋道，等了一會，警察還沒到，故而離去。

而且情況明顯是白色轎車該停不停造成的。
